OVERVIEW

1989 Porsche 930 Slantnose Cabriolet

This factory slantnose cabriolet was first sold on April 8th 1989 at Camelback Porsche in Phoenix, Arizona. It would receive its first service January of 1990 at 1,800 miles. Later that year the car would be sold to its second owner, who has owned the car ever since.

Maintenance records show the Cabriolet had only covered 9000 miles by 1997 when it was brought into Scottsdale Porsche for a major service. For its entire life this Turbo has lived the collector car’s life, and has only covered another 3,000 miles in the past 20 years.

Since arriving at Canepa this beautiful Cabriolet has been thoroughly examined and serviced both mechanically and cosmetically. Every system has been gone through and every fluid changed, from major systems like the engine, transmission, brakes, a/c, and fuel system, all the way down to the headlight washers. Gaskets and seals were replaced to ensure that this low mileage car was tight and road ready, and four new Bridgestone Potenza RE11 tires were fitted.

Finally a concours detail was executed, which included a partial disassembly that allowed our detailers to clean and inspect every corner of the car. The gorgeous red paint was then buffed to perfection, and now this 12,000 mile car is ready for any show lawn and the road that leads to it. This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a rare and bold modern Porsche classic than can truly be enjoyed for another 30 years.
