Lancia Delta HF Integrale to legenda rajdowych tras. Jej wersja cywilna wyróżniała się poszerzeniami, turbosprężarką, stałym napędem na cztery koła i świetnymi właściwościami jezdnymi. W sumie zbudowano ich nieco ponad 11000. Oferowany egzemplarz nie był sztuką traktowaną kolekcjonersko – używana przez austriackiego kierowcę rajdowego, nosi wiele wizualnych śladów eksploatacji. W zamian kusiła niską ceną wywoławczą – aukcja startowała od kwoty 5000 euro, lecz doszła i tak do 14 856 euro (wliczając prowizję).

This Lancia Delta HF Integrale 8V comes from the collection of a famous Austrian rally driver, who used the car as a rally support vehicle. The car shows on the outside strong signs of wear: attachments parts are partly broken and the windshield has rockfalls. According to the owner the engine has been revised a few years ago, since then the engine has a mileage of c. 3000 km. This Integrale required before commissioning a major revision on equipment and paint.

In 1906 Lancia was founded by Vincenzo Lancia, a racing driver. 1922 Lancia Lambda was presented, which polarized mainly due to its reminiscent shape of a boat hull. The car enjoyed great popularity especially among intellectuals. Worldwide more than 11,000 copies were sold. The architect Adolf Loos (famous for the quote ‘ornament is a crime’) recorded his only vehicle design based on the Lambda. The strange jagged vehicle had a two-story, well-rise rear. With its design and use of space, it anticipate the idea of the modern compact car. 1969 Lancia was bought up by the Fiat group. The Turin major corporation gave Lancia a sporty orientation. The brand was able to gain a number of successes in motorsport in the 1970’s to the 1990’s – so the rally successes of the Stratos and Delta, which are both at the same time classic pieces of Italian design.
